Here, here. And, because I've just read Stolen Focus, I understood your B. F. Skinner reference :). Dismissive people are indeed boring and tiresome. Though, by being dismissive of them, does that make me boring and tiresome?! I like your five questions. They made me think, and I have answers for 2 to 4, 5: maybe, 1 is hard. But, I don't want to be interviewed. I look forward to reading the answers of whoever is though.
Thank you Jessica! Looking forward to getting this project started. I have a list of people already and hope to start contacting people next week. (This week is a bear, work-wise).
Love this: "People who approach the world with open arms, hospitality, and curiosity." I feel like I'm still detoxing from the pretentious ennui of grad school English. Your work is definitely helping with that.
Thanks Josh! And I totally understand the arduous process of detoxing from the professional pretentions of the institution. I'm very lucky with my work because I legitimately feel connected to the ideals of academia while being largely insulated from the toxicity of professional distinction. Glad to be in community with you!
Very well said! Love how you frame it--It's not about whether or not you like The Great Gatsby or Citizen Kane or whatever it may be, it's about your approach, and the best one is with "open arms, hospitality, and curiosity" towards other people and other art. Love it!
I’d love to chat! I’m a public education teacher in CO. I design learning experiences for my students. I don’t know if that makes me an interesting person to interview, but I work hard to make school not suck for my students. I love talking about what I do to try and improve public education. Let me know if you’d like to talk.

Thanks Joel! Much appreciated.
I love this idea Danny! I can’t wait to hear the interviews.
Thanks Carter! And if you happen to know someone who is refurbishing an old church or something let me know! :)
Well I don’t know if I count as an interesting person, but I’d be honored to chat if you like!

Wonderful! I am making a list and I'll put you on it! Thanks for reaching out!
